Michelle joined Lyme Veterinary Hospital as a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2019 and is a welcome addition to our hospital. Prior to joining our team, Michelle spent the last nine years working in the field of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care medicine. In addition to her veterinary technician certification, Michelle has been a Certified Professional Dog Trainer since 2006.
She has 15 years of extensive and diverse involvement in various aspects of animal welfare, and remains concentrated on canine training and behavior modification as well as animal cruelty investigation. Passionate about her involvement in animal welfare, Michelle lends her behavior expertise and as a member of the ASPCA Field Services Anti-Cruelty Behavior Team.
At present, she is pursuing a BA in Psychology, with a double major in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her motorcycle, immersing herself in various carpentry projects, and spending time with her three rescue dogs Ziva, Harlow and Otis.
