Tom Heitzman, DVM

Dr. Heitzman graduated from Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He was an associate veterinarian at several practices in Iowa, NH, and VT that included mixed animal practices (small and large animals), dairy, equine, and small ruminant before starting his own practice in Lyme in 1995. In addition to his wife Andrea and his daughter Peili, his family also includes two Golden Retrievers, Millie and Archie and a small mixed-breed Sato, Choco, from the streets of Puerto Rico, and a cat, Clovis. When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Heitzman enjoys kayaking, skiing, and bicycling.
